Drivers will be responsible for securing and moving containers to and from the Port of Savannah to warehouses in Atlanta and Charlotte metro areas. Regional Work, mostly home daily, occasional 1-2 days out max.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years CDL experience
• Valid Class A CDL
• Clean Background
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• No more than 1 moving violation in last 3 years; no serious (as defined by DOT) violations in the last 3 years
• Not involved in a major preventable accident in the past 3
• Must be able to operate an E-Log
Responsibilities:
• Comply with all DOT and in house rules and regulations
• Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck
• Properly track and document activity logs
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect truck before and after trip
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after route.
• Must be able to communicate in a professional manner
• Monday thru Friday
