# NGL Transportation Is Hiring CDL-A Local Drivers, Owner Operators & Small Carriers
**Columbus, GA Area**
Drivers will be assigned to the nearest NGL terminal in **Savannah, GA or Mobile, AL** and will run local port and customer loads.
## 📍 Local Company Driver – Home Daily
* Local runs only
* Same-day return — no overnight stays
* Route: **Yard → Customer → Yard**
* Mostly no-touch freight
* Monday–Friday
* Saturday work may be available for drivers who want additional loads
* Steady and consistent work
## 💰 Company Driver Pay
• Starting at $0.50 to 0.55 per mile (depending on customer & route w/ port included)
* Weekly direct deposit
* First two weeks of pay are held, followed by weekly payroll
## 🚛 Owner Operators
* **Up to $1.39 per loaded mile + 10% fuel surcharge**
* One-truck owner operators are welcome
* Operate under NGL Transportation’s authority
* Consistent local port freight available
* Weekly settlement by check
## 🚚 Small Carriers
* **Up to $2 per loaded mile + 10% fuel surcharge**
* One truck or multiple trucks are welcome
* Must operate under your own authority
* Consistent local port freight available
* Weekly settlement by check
## 🚛 Company Equipment (w/ own chassis)
* Well-maintained automatic trucks are provided for company drivers
## 🅿️ Parking
* Company trucks do not need to be parked at the terminal every day
* Drivers may park the truck and container at a safe and secure location
* Drivers are responsible for assigned equipment at all times
## 📋 Requirements
* Valid CDL Class A
* Clean MVR
* Minimum 1 year of CDL-A driving experience within the past 3 years
* Minimum 6 months of intermodal chassis experience
* TWIC card preferred
* Reliable and punctual
* Able to pick up and return containers at the port
