About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our advanced manufacturing facility. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys precision work and is looking for a non-traditional schedule that offers significant blocks of time off. You will play a key role in producing high-quality, tech-integrated components for modern interior environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Precision Fabrication: Operate machinery to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal according to specific project requirements.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and follow technical drawings and digital schematics to ensure 100% accuracy.
Equipment Operation: Set up and operate tools such as press brakes, shears, and CNC laser/plasma cutters.
Finishing: Deburr, grind, and clean parts to prepare them for assembly or finishing.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular measurements and checks to ensure all parts meet strict tolerances and quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication or a specialized manufacturing environment.
Technical Proficiency: High level of comfort using both manual hand tools and computerized machinery.
Math Skills: Ability to perform calculations for bend deductions, angles, and measurements.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for the duration of a shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
Reliability: Strong attendance record and the ability to work the rotating 4-on, 4-off schedule (including weekends).
