SCAM !!!! I sent this individual $200 to hold this sofa for a week while I was traveling. They agreed. He asked if I would send the rest of the money, the day before I was supposed to pick it up, “so he could buy medicine”. I reluctantly agreed. The payment wasn’t accepted by Zelle. Zelle gave no reason. He then asked me to send it to his significant other. I did, Zelle accepted the payment but didn’t transfer the money. The payment said processing. I went to the address agreed upon to pick up the sofa at the agreed upon time. A person came to the door and had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. Part of the scam ??? Maybe. Not sure. The second payment was returned to me by Zelle, the reason was not given why. Zelle just said transaction declined. Transaction photos available.
