I just purchased a really large and heavy bronze by Hilton Head artist Palmer. His work is in high demand with his 12" statues selling on eBay for $750. Actual sales.......not asking prices. His bronze sculptures are in the lobbies of Fortune 500 companies, luxury hotels, parks, golf courses, tennis courts and many other places, including private collections in Europe, the U.S., and the Caribbean. The only other one of this size and complexity that I know of sits atop the fountains at the Westin on Hilton Head Island. Im offering this sculpture for less than half of what it is worth because of a broken foot............see photos. It is a clean break without bending or metal loss and completely lines up. An easy fix to do yourself or have a pro do it for less than $400. JB Weld is all it needs but personally, I would pin it, cold solder the crack and paint a patina over 3/4" to make the repair completely disappear and be as strong as ever. Overkill but for $30 and a couple hours of time I think well worth it. I have yet to measure the piece but it is approximately 4 feet tall and 3 1/2 wide. It must weigh 300 pounds or so.............really heavy. I will be listing the piece on eBay for much more and if it gets a bid before a local sale happens I will have to honor the eBay sale. Thanks for taking a look.
