Finely restored, circa 1880-1920, modular maple benchtop w/tool tray and "dog" holes, maple frame and drawer/cabinet unit. My father-in-law who was a service man for Boston Gas Company got this old bench out of an old vocational school that had closed, back in the 1950's. In really good shape, in spite of the battle scars, Still a lot of life left in it as a workbench, hobby bench or a dry bar. Thoroughly cleaned; drawers re-glued; and lightly tung-oiled all throughout to nourish the wood. Has one hold-down "dog" with metal leaf spring in the front vice.
I have seen these on eBay, Etsy, and other antique tool/furniture sites for between $1,500.- to $2,500.-; and I have easily 40 hours or more and $150.- worth of materials into this beauty. $2,000.-obo Cash. As stated, this is a modular unit in 3 sections. Bench Top w/vises(55" x 28" x 4 1/2")(both vises can be un-screwed and removed also): the maple frame(35" x 20" x 29 1/2") and the boxed drawer/cabinet unit(31 1/2" x 20" x 17"). Very interested parties only.
