I have a friend who recently bought a home, He moved there independantly , that is on his own, and a few weeks later the woman he had been dating was thrown out of her mothers house for unknown reasons. She begged and pleaded with him for her and her young child to stay with him for until she could get on her feet. 2 weeks later things having failed to work out, he tells her where to go. Problem is she wont leave. she does not have a key, yet has traken the liberty to forcibly open windows and let herself in when hes not home. The local police have been called and point blank my friend was told tht sice he allowed her to stay to begin with there is nothing he can do to force her to leave. They ( the police) even calim she cannot be held responsible for damages caused by her "vandalism" because since she stays there its not breaking and entering, even though she has been told to leave. The child is now placed at her relatives home so there is no issue of a child anymore. What can my friend do to get her out? does he have to have her legally evicted? he cant get a restraining order because there has been no "violence" as yet. what can he legally do? any help?

I noticed that the Twelve Tribes' sailing vessel "Peacemaker" is docked on Riverstreet and someone mentioned to me that they are able to stay docked there for some reduced rate otherwise not available to other large boats. Does anyone know what the City of Savannah's policy is and whether this ever-evolving religious entity is being given preferential treatment or not?

Hi all, I am Russell. I have been out of work since I was laid off in April 2009. The economy is in the toilet and if you are not out there looking for a job, you really don't know how bad it is. I have sold everything I have of value so far. I have applied to over 346 locations with little response and few interviews.
