I am a SCAD grad student looking for 1) a roommate and 2) a 2 BR apartment starting in September for the fall quarter at SCAD.

About me: I'm a 23-year-old female SCAD graduate student in Illustration. I do not smoke or do drugs, and drink rarely (and then only socially). I am a very clean and unobtrusive person (I do the dishes regularly, keep crap off the floor, straighten up regularly, etc.). I am very focused on school, and am not much of a partier. If there's some important aspect of my personality/lifestyle that I missed, ask me about it and I'll be happy to tell you more.

I would prefer to pay ~ $600 (or less) for rent a month (not including utilities). I would also prefer to live no further south than Gwinnett Street--the closer to the Historic District, the better (in regards to safety). Having a washer/dryer/dishwasher is preferable but not having one or more of them would be fine as long as the rent is reasonable. I am looking for a 9 month or 12 month lease beginning in September. I have a cat (neutered male, affectionate and non-destructive), so animal-friendly is a must.

In a roommate, I'm looking for someone who is also female and clean, considerate (doesn't make racket in the middle of the night), a non-smoker/non-drug-user, does not party every weekend, is preferably a student at SCAD (but that's open for discussion), and likes cats. If you have a cat that's awesome; if you have a dog that'd be awesome too so long as s/he's good with cats. If you're a bit nerdy (video games, comics, etc.) that is also awesome and welcomed. :)

My only pet is a dog, small mature Shitzu, that only barks when someone knocks at the door.
